My dog is dying of cancer, what should I do with all her stuff?
She has 1 to 3 months to live and she is completely spoiled with custom sofas, custom dog house, more clothes than I own and not budget clothes either. I do not want to donate to the SPCA but maybe a rescue? Any suggestions as to where I could donate this stuff?

Why don't you Freecycle to people in your area?
im so sorry about your dog.
Maybe you can give it to friends or families who have dogs. You can give it to some sort of rescue center for animals.
hope this helps

Find the rescue for the particular breed. Go to Adopt a pet. They have rescues by breed. I am sorry to hear of your troubles.
Get another dog! My aunt had a dog for 13 years that started to die of gum/throat cancer. She bought another dog to help her get through the loss and it has worked great, although the new dog still misses the old one. I strongly suggest you get another dog. IF that is not an option, try and pass your stuff on to some friends or people who you walk your dog with.
I'm so sorry about what you must be going through.
For the bigger, custom things you should sell or give to people in the area. If you have any toys or smaller beds you can give them to a shelter or rescue in your area. I would call up and ask them if they need it.
Once again, I'm so sorry! It's so hard to lose a pet. My thoughts go out to you!

you could give it to a local animal shelter, that is always the best choice.
if there is anything you want to keep as a memory, id suggest putting some things in a wooden box. you can decorate the box with pictures of your dog.
im sorry about your dog, i hope she goes to "heaven" or wherever it is dogs go :)

I am so sorry for your coming loss. I know how hard it is to loose someone so special. I don't know where you can donate her things, but you might check and see if there is a doggy daycare in your area that could use it. I am in the last time of my old girls life. She is 17 and going down hill so I know how it hurts. I am in tears so will go.
I'm sorry about your dog. I recently lost mine too. It must feel horrible to know when she'll die though. =[
You could call rescues to see if they would take any of it, you could sell it, give it to friends/family/neighbors/etc, or you could just throw it away. That would be a waste though.

Don't rush to get a new dog like some others have suggested. I know how hard it will be to lose this one, and it takes time to heal. think of it as like.. a relationship. When someone breaks up and rushes to get a new partner it just turns out to be a rebound and things get worse.

I say keep her favorite clothes and make a little shadow box of her favorite things...add some pictures and her little collar for a keepsake.
Sorry about your dog.
Sorry about your dog.
If it were me I would sell the stuff on Ebay and donate my profits to my local shelter. I think they could use the money more than a custom sofa, custom dog house and dog clothes.
Many food banks are now accepting donations of pet food. You should ask them if they would accept your other items. Bonnie Hayes Small Animal Shelter would probably also love to have them as well. You can find names of other rescues online. Please stay in touch with me and let me know if there is anything more that I can do for you. You are in my prayers.
